Transpoesie festival at the Citizens' Garden

Transpoesie celebrates the unique relationship between poetry, nature and architecture, creating living environments that inspire and ignite the imagination.

This year’s edition will focus on surrealist poetry and linguistic diversity to mark the centenary of the birth of surrealism.
Delve into poetic depths where dreams, reality, and revolutionary spirit intertwine. Embrace the surrealist ethos and see how these poets shape a new world redefining humanity through aesthetic, philosophical depths, or revolutionary spirit.

The official opening of the TRANSPOESIE festival will take place at the Citizens’ Garden

Thursday 26 September

17:00 -18:30

Twelve different contemporary surrealist poets will take to the stage in the Citizens’ Garden:

  • Haska Shyyan (Ukraine)
  • Jaan “Luulur” Malin (Estonia)
  • Susannah Dickey (Northern Ireland)
  • Harkaitz Cano (Spain – Basque Region)
  • Malgorzata Lebda (Poland)
  • Lupin Vivian (Channel Islands (Guernsey))

  • Dr. Adam Perchard (Channel Islands (Jersey))
