Workshop “mini-manif”
3.30pm-5pm at the European Parliament (free upon registration). Ages 6 and up, groups of up to 20 people per 1-hour slot. Register here

On Wednesday 4 March, children will have the opportunity to express their demands! Accompanied by two CEAAC mediators, visitors will come up with slogans and placards inspired by the work of the 1970s British collective, the Hackney Flashers. It's a fun way to learn about witty remarks, rhymes, sharp thinking and everyone's rights.

•  Continuous screening from short film « Fragments »
9am-6pm on the European Parliament tour route (free of charge, no registration required).

MIRA and CEAAC are honouring Solange Fernex, former Member of the European Parliament and key figure in exploring the links between ecology, pacifism and feminism. Pascaline Morincôme, researcher and curator, and Sophie Desgeorge, film director, host a screening and lecture devoted to the political career and personal commitments of Solange Fernex, from her grassroots struggles against industrialisation and nuclearisation in the Rhine region in the 1970s to her entry into the European Parliament in 1989.

Roundtable with Lucile Peytavin, author of « Le coût de la virilité »  In partnership with Sciences Po – Forum
3pm to 4pm at the European Parliament (free of charge, subject to availability – booking recommended). Register here

Have you ever wondered what the cost of masculine behaviour is to our society? In her best-selling book “Le coût de la virilité” (“The Cost of Masculinity”), Lucile Peytavin analyses and estimates this cost. On International Women's Rights Day, the French historian and essayist will revisit the economic consequences of patriarchy, the place of women in society and the feminist issues that shape our times. A feminist discussion that is both timely and essential.
