Exhibition: Voice of the Desert
From May 8 to June 8, 2026, the exhibition Voice of the Desert will be presented on the visitor’s circuit at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, in partnership with the association Apollonia.
This exhibition features 11 women, 11 artists from the Australian aboriginal people, along with an additional piece from the European Parliament’s collection: Minyma Malilu by Kani Patricia Tunkin.
It is an opportunity to discover Aboriginal art, as well as the founding myths and the culture of First Nations peoples.
The exhibition also highlights the unique role of women within these communities. As guardians of knowledge, language, and rituals, Aboriginal women play a vital role in preserving and transmitting their culture through their artwork.
