Be part of the audience in the Hemicycle for a special evening celebrating European cinema. Members of the public as well as Members of the European Parliament will determine the winner by watching and rating their favourite film from the five nominated movies - Animal, Flow, Intercepted, Julie keeps Quiet and Mahomey. Representatives from all five nominated films will be present to discuss their work.

Following the award ceremony, the winning film will be screened in the Info Hub. Tickets are limited and will be distributed outside the Hemicycle.

The LUX Audience Award is presented every year by the European Parliament and the European Film Academy, in partnership with the European Commission and Europa Cinemas. The award celebrates European cinema and it aims to engage and debate with the larger European public on important societal subjects reflecting our common European values such as democracy, rule of law, pluralism and freedom of expression. The nominated films raise awareness about current social and political issues and engage audiences in debates about Europe in a thought-provoking way, and reflect the beauty and diversity of European cinema.
