Wednesday Afternoons at the European Parliament
Join us for the new event series “Wednesday afternoons at the European Parliament”. One Wednesday per month events will take place to promote the cultural diversity of Europe and to spark debates on the challenges our society faces.
Wednesday Afternoons at the European Parliament
In light of the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration, the exhibition show casing the life and ideas of one of the founding fathers of the EU has unveiled a new permanent installation in the visitors circuit of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
As part of the Wednesday afternoons at the European Parliament, on March 26th at 15:00, Mr. Etienne Deschamps, one of the curators of the "Robert Schuman" exhibition, will give a talk to present the politician and place his declaration in its historical context. This founding act marked the beginning of the construction of a united Europe and highlights Strasbourg's European vocation.
Following the presentation, there will be a guided tour in French, to allow visitors to explore the exhibition panels.
The tour is free and does not require prior registration. It is advised to arrive 30 minutes in advance for security checks and accreditation. You are kindly requested to bring an identity document.
