To mark the start of the new parliamentary term, the European Parliament has set up an exhibition entitled The Hemicycle: european democracy at work. This exhibition invites visitors to discover a key element of the European Parliament, the heart of European decision-making that is the hemicycle.
The exhibition provides an insight into the workings and history of these plenary sessions throughout the history of the European Parliament.
A selection of panels of the exhibition is available on the visitors' circuit in French, German and English, as well as online in 24 languages.
