Nuit Blanche 2024

As the 22nd edition of the Nuit Blanche focuses on the French overseas territories, Europa Experience will be turning the decks over to Guadeloupean DJ Hey Bony and his electro-Caribbean sounds. German artist Hanna Machete will kick off the evening with her house music.

In the cinema, one of the feminist portraits in the documentary series BEING BORN A GIRL by French video artist Candice Martel will be screened. Her portrait ‘# 8// REUNION’ highlights the testimony of Josée, a woman from Reunion Island who has undergone a non-consensual abortion, whose words dialogue with the steps of dancers and the songs of Maya Kamaty.

Outside Europa Experience, passers-by can watch Swinging in the Garden by Hungarian video artist Tamas Waliczky, as part of a collaboration with the Institut Liszt. The work by this internationally renowned artist will plunge the public into a poetic contemplation of garden vegetation, as seen from a swing.
