Exhibition: European Order of Merit
The European Order of Merit was instituted in 2025 to mark the 75th of the Schuman Declaration. Its purpose is to recognise individuals who have made a significant contribution to European integration, as well as to the promotion and defence of the European Union’s values.
In Strasbourg, during the last plenary session on 19 May, the European Parliament welcomed the first 20 laureates.
From 2 June to 30 September, visitors can discover an exhibition in Strasbourg, along the visitor’s circuit, dedicated to the creation of this new European distinction, which is awarded by an institution of the European Union.
