This summer, from July 13 to August 28, 2026, the European Parliament invites you to take part in a programme of guided visits exploring the role and work of the European Parliament, the origins of the European Union, and even an art exhibition.

The European Parliament: How It Works and the Architecture of the Louise Weiss Building

Every Monday, from July 13 to August 24, a presentation (approximately 30 minutes) on the functioning of the institution and the architecture of the Louise Weiss Building will be held around the original architectural models of the building at the following times:

  • German: 10:00 a.m. 
  • French: 11:00 a.m. 
  • English: 3:00 p.m. 

Robert Schuman Exhibition

Every Wednesday, from July 15 to August 26, guided tours (approximately 30 minutes) of the exhibition dedicated to Robert Schuman’s commitment to European integration and to his Declaration of 9 May 1950, the founding act of the European Union, will be offered at the following times:

  • French: 2:30 p.m. 
  • German: 3:30 p.m. 
  • English: 4:30 p.m. 

 

Currents of Europe – An Art Exhibition Exploring Water as a Resource for Nature, Industry and Everyday Life

Every Friday, from July 17 to August 28, discover an exhibition featuring a selection of artworks from the European Parliament’s contemporary art collection. The exhibition reflects both citizens’ concerns and European policies relating water resource management.
Through installations, photography, painting, sculpture, and through the perspectives of artists from the mid-20th century to the present day, water is explored through the lenses of nature, leisure, industry, and environmental disasters.
A guided introduction to the exhibition (approximately 30 minutes) will be offered at the following times:

  • French: 10:00 a.m. 
  • English: 11:00 a.m. 
  • German: 3:00 p.m.
