The Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union begins on 1 January and runs until 30 June 2026. The Council is the EU institution representing member state governments and every six months, the presidency of this institution rotates among them. The presiding country sets the EU agenda, focusing on priorities and pressing issues.
The House of European History has launched a new digital resource HistoriCall , which explores the early days of European integration through the personal lens of its founders and through a simple set of questions to develop critical thinking skills.
It is available online, for free, in the 24 languages of the EU.
