It is possible to combine our digital city walk with a group presentation. It is up to you to decide, but we recommend that you start with the city walk and continue with a presentation at Europa Experience. The digital city walk takes approximately an hour, starts at Christiansborg and ends at Europa Experience.

Europa Experience Copenhagen

Experience Europe in the heart of Copenhagen
Visit Europa Experience to get up close and personal with the EU, and explore how it affects your day-to-day life. Test your knowledge of current EU affairs, and choose which corners of EU politics you wish to examine more closely. You can also take a selfie in the selfie booth and share your picture with family and friends across Europe in just a few clicks!
Get to know the members of the European Commission and the European Parliament, and choose whose work and priority issues you want to know more about - in all 24 official EU languages.
If you live in Copenhagen, you can easily pop by on your way to the King's Garden or when passing by Nørreport Station. If you're visiting Copenhagen, add Europa Experience to your sightseeing list.
Larger groups or school classes can combine their visit with a personalized presentation on a current EU topic of their choice.
Group visits
We facilitate presentations to school classes, educational institutions and other groups who want to learn more about the EU. We offer a strong combination of in-depth knowledge about EU politics and the current EU agenda, news and developments.
During the presentation, we draw in and engage with participants in an entertaining and accessible way and set the stage for debate and dialogue. In coordination with you, e.g. the teacher, we will adapt your visit and the presentation to your individual needs and educational requirements.

Take a walk through central Copenhagen and discover EU
Take a walk through Copenhagen city centre with your phone by the hand and find examples of where the EU is physically present in everyday life.
You will stop by central places for European cooperation such as: the European Environment Agency at Kongens Nytorv, Christiansborg at Højbro Plads and our facilities at Nørreport station. Discover them all with quizzes and other interactive activities along the way.
All you need to do is find the Europa Experience in the Useeum app. The city walk begins at Christiansborg. It is free and lasts approximately an hour.
The city walk is suitable for persons of 14 years and up.
Experience the European Parliament through a role play game
Groups can take a seat in the European Parliament for a day and try out the decision-making process in an engaging role play game. Under the expert guidance of the hosts, participants - in their role as Members of the European Parliament - will discuss, negotiate, compromise and vote on a legislative proposal aimed at improving the daily lives of citizens across the EU.
The role play game lasts for 60-90 minutes and gives participants an insight into European democracy. Simultaneously, it strengthens interpersonal, public speaking and diplomatic skills. Participation is free, and the game is offered in both Danish and English at Europa-Huset, Gothersgade 115, Copenhagen.
It is also possible to combine the role play game with a presentation, a city walk or a visit to the Europa Experience exhibition.
Who can participate?
The role play game is primarily targeted at pupils in the 9th grade (around 14 to 15 years of age), high schools, vocational schools and higher education, but can also be played by others who just find the EU interesting. We recommend that the participants have a basic understanding of the EU institutions prior to the visit.
How does it work?
The game works best for groups of at least 16 people. If you are more than 27 participants, please contact us at info@europa-huset.dk to agree further. All participants must bring a phone or tablet - the hosts will take care of the rest.
The role play game can be booked via our booking platform
